Teen Class, Room 11/12 taught by Evan Hutchinson / David Russell

Do you have what it takes? I mean do you have what it takes to stand up for the truth and what is right? This quarter we are continuing to look at a DVD series by Francis Chan author of “Crazy Love” and awesome dynamic preacher. The series follows teens that went to church but lived a double life and there are teens that didn't go to church but found Jesus. But what these students have in common is they all wanted to fit in, to be trendy. They lowered their convictions and values to fit in with the “cool kids”. The goal for this class is to teach us not to lower our convictions, values to fit in. To look at scripture and show us how our faith in Jesus can give us the ability to live lives defined by courage.
